When will free speech finally become a reality for nutritional supplement manufacturers? It can only happen with radical reforms that end the medical monopoly currently enforced by the Big Pharma / FDA conspiracy. See my book, Natural Health Solutions and the Conspiracy to Keep You From Knowing About Them to learn more: http://www.TruthPublishing.com/NaturalHealthSolutions.html
Today, it is very clear that we are NOT living in a free society. Freedom of speech is simply not allowed for anyone selling food, herbs or nutritional supplements of any kind. |
| The Food and Drug Administration has a long history of engaging in armed raids against nutritional supplement and herbal companies. Read these articles to learn more:

This is the nutritional supplement industry that a lot of people see. I know that these particular supplements are from the same manufacturers that you find making low-cost vitamins sold at grocery stores and pharmacies. It's no wonder that some people have such a dim view of the nutritional supplements industry. They take these products and they feel worse.
Well, no wonder; you've just consumed toxic ingredients – not what was in the label, but what was listed in the fine print of the ingredients section. No wonder you feel worse; you're just eating hydrogenated oils. |

By terrorizing fruit growers, herbal tea companies and nutritional supplement manufacturers, the Food and Drug Administration continues to exercise iron-grip control over the printing of any information regarding the true medicinal applications of foods and plants. The FDA's censorship campaign is, by any measure, outrageously successful, and any company that dares to tell the truth about its own products is very much aware that they risk being put out of business by this rogue agency. |
| I can only pray that, in time, these people will be made to answer for their crimes, and that freedom will be returned to the people in the form of a Health Freedom Protection Act that ends the decades of censorship that the FDA has enforced against nutritional supplement companies. The FDA represents an imminent threat to the health and safety of the American people, and its actions are far more dangerous to Americans than all the terrorists in the world. Statistically speaking, even a nuclear bomb going off in a major U.S. |
| This, folks, is exactly why the FDA attacks nutritional supplement companies. There's a revenue stream at stake here, and patients must remain diseased in order for Big Pharma to profit from them. Any herbal product that actually works will quickly find itself in the FDA's crosshairs, especially if it is described with honest, accurate language telling consumers the truth about what the product actually does. Garlic halts the growth of cancer tumors, but don't you dare say it on your web page, or the FDA will consider you a criminal and seize your garlic supplements. |

They've allowed drug companies and nutritional supplement manufacturers to steamroll any attempt to protect the public, and that's why all these dangerous, toxic, disease-promoting ingredients are still perfectly legal.
The FDA seemingly continues to actually support these ingredients. They haven't done enough to try to outlaw them. It seems that from the FDA's point of view, getting tough means sending a wimpy warning letter that says, "Oh, by the way, your ads are misleading people." To them, it means requiring trans fats to be listed on foods. Never mind actually outlawing the ingredient. |

Vitamins and Minerals
WHAT ARE VITAMINS?
A vitamin is an organic substance that is essential (i.e., vital) for life. Most vitamins cannot be synthesized in the body and so must be obtained from the diet or supplements. Vitamins fall into two main groups. Fat-soluble vitamins require a certain amount of fat to be absorbed. They are also stored longer in the body. Common examples of fat-soluble vitamins include vitamins A, D, K, and E. |

End censorship for nutritional supplement manufacturers
Did you know that if you're a nutritional supplement manufacturer and you actually tell the truth about your product, either on the packaging or your website, you will likely get threatened by the FDA and possibly have your warehouse raided at gunpoint? Through a massive campaign of censorship, intimidation and thuggish tactics, the FDA has managed to scare virtually all nutritional supplement manufacturers into self-censorship. So nobody tells the truth about what their products can do. |

There can be no doubt that this "hype versus science" attitude in the nutritional supplement industry has placed major roadblocks in the path of acceptance of those natural therapies that do have solid science and demonstrable clinical benefit, and has encouraged many more-than-skeptical attitudes among healthcare providers.
Another dilemma is the not-all-are-created-equal issue regarding nutritional supplements. While many products are pure, many others fail to live up to the ingredients and dosages listed on their labels. |

FINDING AN INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE DOCTOR
Many times throughout this book, I've recommended that you consult with your doctor when starting a new nutritional supplement. Unfortunately, some physicians will be less than supportive when you bring up this topic. This may be due to ignorance—after all, your doctor has to keep up with the research on drugs, procedures, and diagnoses, and isn't likely to have the time or energy to bone up on nutrition. Or it may be because of misguided notions about the scientific support for nutritional supplementation in people who are depleted by prescription drugs. |

I only recommend and consume vitamins from high-end nutritional supplement companies.
Blurring the line to scare consumers
But conventional medicine researchers try to blur the line between "junk vitamins" and "quality vitamins" by classifying all nutritional supplements as "vitamins," regardless of what they're really made from. By discrediting a few synthetic chemicals, they can effectively dissuade the masses from taking ANY vitamins, including the good ones. |

| Let nutritional supplement makers tell the truth
Yet another excellent suggestion for transitioning to a healthy nation is to allow nutritional supplement manufacturers to tell the truth about what their supplements do for your health. This is something the FDA has disallowed for decades. They have never allowed manufacturers of nutritional supplements to make true statements about what those supplements can do for your health. |

I have absolutely no financial relationship with the FruitFast company, and I have a long history of openly and honestly recommending top-notch nutritional supplement companies.)

But why would a company give away valuable product for free? |
| This is the same way I deal with all the nutritional supplement companies I cover: 100% hands off. My recommendation here is based purely on me bringing fantastic deals to my readers as a way to provide outstanding benefits to NewsTarget readers. I want to attract more readers to NewsTarget, and I fully realize the way to do that is to make this website and e-mail newsletter more valuable to readers.

PHARMACOKINETICS
Lutein and zeaxanthin exist in several forms. nutritional supplement forms are comprised of these carotenoids either in their free (non-esterified) forms or in the form of fatty acid esters. Lutein and zeaxanthin exist in a matrix in foods. In the case of the chicken egg yolk, the matrix is comprised of lipids (cholesterol, phospholipid, triglycerides). The carotenoids are dispersed in the matrix along with fat-soluble nutrients, including vitamins A, D and E. In the case of plants, lutein and zeaxanthin are associated with chloroplasts or chromoplasts. |

The only oral medication approved for IC by the FDA is pentosan polysulfate sodium (PPS, Elmiron). Other oral medications include amitriptyline, imipramine (used for pain), hydroxyzine, antispasmodics, muscle relaxants, and numerous pain medications. PPS is the most studied conventional medicine for IC. Unfortunately, it only shows about a 30 percent efficacy rate.
Medicine can also be instilled into the bladder. Until PPS, DMSO was the only approved medication for IC. |
| It may be possible to favorably alter this vaginal ecology by taking lactobacillus in the form of a nutritional supplement.
Additional considerations may include liver support to aid in the metabolism of the steroids. There are many options here, including a lipotropic supplement and herbs such as dandelion root, burdock root, and milk thistle.
Little information is available about any interactions between botanicals and birth control pills. For now, my only real caution is with Saint-John's-wort. |
